This Prince Shiraz was produced from parcels of fruit grown on low-yielding vines creating a wine of intense flavours, naturally soft tannin and the classic rich Shiraz structure. The variety is very successful on sites that allow the vine to attain flavour ripeness whilst retaining balanced levels of sugar, tannin and acid.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: deep ruby red colour
Bouquet: Noted tones of liquorice, spice and charry vanillan oak on top of dark cherry fruit
Palate: Its dark berry fruits give way to a rich mid-palate of chocolate, spices and a hint of regional menthol. The soft tannin structure of this wine allows lingering fruit flavours to shine throughout the long dry finish
Food Pairing: beautiful with rib eye and mash
Cellaring: Can be enjoyed now or cellared with confidence for 5 years
