Collection: Elgee Park - Mornington Peninsula, VIC, Australia

In the spring of 1972, Baillieu Myer AC planted 400 vines at Elgee Park, establishing the Peninsula’s first commercial vineyard and beginning the evolution of a premium label.
Elgee Park vineyard covers 4.5 hectares of sheltered, undulating land, enjoying a warm aspect in a cool maritime climate.

While some original vines remain, the varieties have diversified and the vineyardexpanded. Over 40-plus years Elgee Park has benefited from the vision of vigneron and owner Baillieu Myer AC, the dedication of the vineyard team led by Laurence Tedesco, and the talents of outstanding winemakers, namely Ian Hickinbotham, Stephen Hickinbotham, Henk Van Den Ham, Daniel Greene, Tod Dexter, Kevin McCarthy, Kathleen Quealy and Geraldine McFaul.

“It is small and personal and will remain that way. For me there is nothing I like more than working with the team – pruning, slashing, planting and picking.” Baillieu Myer AC (Elgee Park Vineyard The First Forty Years)

Elgee Park offers a select range of award-winning wines, made under contract by celebrated winemaker Geraldine McFaul. The vineyard has thrived through the passion of the vigneron, the skills of winemakers and viticulturists, the quality of the fruit and oak, and the care taken in nurturing the vines. Elgee Park vines produce premium grape varieties of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Viognier, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
