This week we had the pleasure of enjoying the wonderful hospitality of the Salatin family high up in the lush rolling hills in Veneto about 60 KLMs north of Venice. The closer towns are the DOC and DOCG towns of Treviso and Valdobiadene and we also had the pleasure of seeing the giro d’Italia roll through and it’s a sight to be seen as it’s like a moving circus of bicycles, caravans and people in amongst some stunning scenery.
