The Heathcote region has long been recognised as one of Australia's pre-eminent locations for ultra premium Shiraz and what sets it apart is the idyllic continental climate and the famous strip of 600 million year old deep red Cambrian soil. These ancient soils impart typically identifiable characteristics of ripe full-flavoured wines, deep purple/black in colour with rich and velvety berry fruit flavours into this wine.

A highly aromatic shiraz with really bright plum and black fruits with hints of an alluring floral and dried herb aroma, violets and sage, giving this Heathcote shiraz complexity and interest.
A seductively lush palate with all the tannin and acid in perfect balance for such a young wine. A really fresh, fruity and drinkable shiraz.

Palate: The pallet is full of blackberry fruit and spice, great structure with plenty of tannin and balanced with a noticeably vibrant acidity.
